The Town of Silverthorne is gearing up for an exciting January First Friday! Come test your strength against the Icey forces of nature in our first Polar Plunge. We will be working together with Summer Fire and EMS and Summit Water Rescue to put on this event! For each person who jumps, we will be donating $20 to Summit Water Rescue, with up to 100 participants.

The plunge will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, January 2nd at North Pond Park in Silverthorne. The address is 108 Hamilton Creek Road, Silverthorne, CO, 80498. This is for the 2:30 slot.

As always, First Friday is FREE, but guests must register in advance as space is limited. One registration is required per guest to participate. You MUST sign a waiver to participate in this event. A waiver will be required for entrance onto the ice. Please print and sign the waiver here:

- Shoes are required to enter the water and walk on the ice.

- A liability waiver must be signed

- No alcoholic beverages are permitted at this event.

- Please bring a change of dry warm clothes to change into after the plunge.
